Julie's Art Portfolio

Julie

Byrne

I never touched a Mac computer until my first semester, junior year, in high school (Fall 2013). It was for my 21st Century Journalism class, and it was the prerequisite for Yearbook--which I would join the next year. I didn't use it much except for writing articles and the like.

It wasn't until my Senior year that I started to pick up the pace. In my first semester, I took Film Photography and Digital Imaging classes, created this website for the Final Projects, and I managed to switch into Graphic Design class for second semester.

All of these works were done in the years I was first introduced to design on Mac computers. I've always used Windows PCs, so I'm surprised at how well I adapted to Macs--to the point I've developed an interest in Graphic Design and I'm considering taking these types of classes in College. I'm not going to say I'll become the best of the best--I'm just saying I want to explore possibilities in an area of study I both enjoyed more than I should have and took more seriously than I should have.

     Wish me luck!
